DARK is one of the best scifi thriller on netfix.Its season 2 releases on 21st june 2019.Before that lets have an overall outline of season 1:
In 1986,the nuclear power plant had an incident,the hydrogen build up caused an explosion.The power plant team fixed it and hide it from the rest of the world by bribing their employees.but the explosion resulted in a 3 dimensional worm hole within the cave.
The worm hole connects 3 periods 1953,1986 and 2019 with a time gap of 33 years. One who finds the tunnel can travel to any of the other two periods and can come back.
Claudia first discovers this phenomenon,as she shows her dog who went to the cave before 33 years appeared infront of her.She was the director of the power plant.
lets start with Mikkel,he gets missing from 2019 and ended up in 1986.where he mets hannah and becomes his life partner.Jonas becomes their son.
But in 2019 there is Mikkel, now Michael,who can see his own childhood version.He suicide by leaving a letter which shows dont open before november 4,10.13 pm of 2019.The time at which little mikkel gets disappeared.
Ulrich,mikkel's father also a cop tries to find him and reaches in 1953 through the tunnel.In 1986,ulrich's brother,mads disappeared and his body is found out in 2019.and the first boy disappeared in 2019 found in 1986,died.
They were killed by an experiment to create a time machine.The body of mads is found in the bunker of peter doppler.he informs tronte,father of ulrich and mads and he transports the body to the woods, in 2019.
ulrich,in 1953 tries to kill little helge doppler to stop him from kidnapping kids.Ulrich got by the police and gets arrested in 1953.Helge is the father of peter doppler and charlotte doppler's father in law.
charlotte digs out the past and finds the photo of present ulrich in 1953 case file.
